Wondering how the relation shown in the title is possible? Yes. It is possible in IT world. Take the instance of Microsoft Office. Most people will be remembering MS Office from Office 97 onwards. People hardly remember versions prior to that. Me too. Let us look at the versions of Office. They are 97, 2000, XP, 2003. Now the next version of MS Office is called Office 12. Hence the rule 12 > 2003 ;-). If you look at the folder naming under ‘Program files’ folder, you will notice that the folder for Office 2003 is actually named as Office11. But then it is not only Microsoft which follows this kind of naming of their product versions. Consider the Flash software from Macromedia. Oops, now it is part of Adobe. Flash versions are 4, 5, MX, MX 2004 and now 8. Hence in case of Flash, 8 > 2004!
As per [http://www.neowin.net/index.php?act=view&id=32161|this site] the final name for Office 12 will be Office 2007.
