Happy New Year 2006

I would like to wish a very happy and prosperous new year to the readers of Vishva Kannada. A lot of time was spent in re-installing all the software in my PC. Then again I had to reformat the system and again re-install everything. I will write why I had to do all these in a separate article. Till then, happy times.

New site

After dragging for nearly one year, finally, the new site is up. But the contents are yet to come. As I am busy with so many things, it will take some time for all the sections to be filled up. Thanks should go to H P Nadig who did go thru so many content management servers (CMS) on the web and finally decided on Drupal. It took some time to figure out the pros and cons between different free and opensource CMSes available. Be patient and be with me while I convert and upload the old content into the new Unicode format.
